What we collect

• Enquiry details you provide through the contact form: your name, email address, the nature of your enquiry and your message.
• Technical data that web servers routinely log, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising or profiling cookies. See our cookie policy.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss possible work — on the basis of our legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To keep the site secure and functioning — on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Who processes it

Contact-form submissions are delivered through submitto.email, acting as our processor, and by our email provider. Our website is hosted by our hosting provider. These providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.

Fonts and third parties

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page loads. This is used only to display the site’s fonts.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and then delete it, unless we must keep records for legal reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, subject to the conditions in the law. To exercise any of these, email hello@ingvarsteinberg.com.

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
